I am a registered veterinarian and have worked in Tasmania for nearly 6 years with the "Department of Fisheries" (DPIPWE), working in a diagnostic capacity and involved in some aspects of research predominantly with the salmonid, abalone and edible oyster industries. I have always had a passion with ornamental fishes and I started treating ornamental fish on a professional veterinary basis since 2003. I moved back to Perth in 2008 and provide veterinary consultancy for pet fishes locally, to the public aquarium (AQWA) and regularly lecture to veterinary and biomedical students at Murdoch University. Since 2004, I have been flying to Melbourne on a monthly basis to provide consultancy to Boronia Aquarium and its clients.
